This page provides important game day information for events hosted at Rio Vista High School, including facility information, parking, admission and tickets, spectator expectations, and information for visiting teams.

Spectators attending events in the gymnasium, at the football field, or at the softball field should park in the Student/Spectator Parking Lot.
Please use the Game Day Map below for parking locations, athletic facilities, spectator walking paths, and event entrances.
Tickets & Admission
Admission is charged for RVHS home football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling events.
Spectators may purchase tickets online through GoFan before the event or purchase tickets at the gate. Cash and card payments are accepted at the gate.

Spectator Expectations
Rio Vista High School Athletics is committed to providing a safe, positive, and respectful environment for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. We ask all guests attending RVHS athletic events to demonstrate good sportsmanship and help create a positive game day experience.
Spectators are expected to:
- Support student-athletes and teams in a positive and respectful manner.
- Treat players, coaches, officials, school staff, and other spectators with respect.
- Refrain from inappropriate, profane, threatening, or abusive language or behavior.
- Refrain from taunting, intimidating, or directing negative comments toward student-athletes, coaches, officials, or spectators.
- Follow the directions of game management, school administrators, security personnel, and event staff.
- Remain in designated spectator areas and stay off playing surfaces, team benches, locker rooms, and other restricted areas.
- Supervise children in your care throughout the event.
- Help keep RVHS athletic facilities clean by properly disposing of trash.
Sportsmanship Reminder
Officials, coaches, and student-athletes are part of the educational athletic experience. Spectators should allow coaches to coach, officials to officiate, and student-athletes to compete.
Spectators who fail to follow game day expectations or whose behavior disrupts the event may be asked to leave the facility.
Facility & Event Rules
To help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone attending RVHS athletic events, please observe the following facility and event rules.
All Athletic Events
- Tobacco Products: The use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited. This includes smoking and smokeless tobacco products, including chewing tobacco.
- Noisemakers: Whistles, air horns, and other air-powered or mechanically powered devices are prohibited. Failure to follow this rule may result in a stoppage of play and possible removal from the premises.
- Children & Supervision: Spectators are asked to supervise children in their care at all times. For their safety, children should not climb on or under bleachers, run through walkways, or jump on seats.
- Pets: Pets are prohibited at RVHS athletic events, except for service animals.
- Re-Entry: There is no re-entry once a spectator leaves the event.
Football Field & Stadium
For the safety of our student-athletes and coaches, spectators may not enter the playing surface or restricted field area at any time. This includes before, during, and after the game.
Please remain in designated spectator areas throughout the event.
Gymnasium
Food and drinks are prohibited inside the gymnasium. Water is permitted.

Visiting Team Information
Rio Vista High School welcomes visiting teams, coaches, and student-athletes to our campus. Please review the following information when preparing for an athletic event at RVHS.
- Bus Parking: Visiting team buses should park in the Student/Spectator Parking Lot. Staff will direct visiting team buses to their designated parking location upon arrival.
- Team Arrival & Entrance: Upon arrival, visiting teams will be met and escorted to the appropriate locker room or playing facility. Please reference the Game Day Facilities Map.pdf
- Visiting Team Locker Rooms: Locker room facilities are available for visiting teams in the RVHS Gymnasium.
- Water: Visiting teams should bring their own water bottles and/or team water jugs. Water-fill stations are available on campus for refilling bottles and jugs.
